Matt Hendrix gets to wear a few different hats at Cornerstone Senior Services.  He holds the titles of both Director of Training and Compliance and District Sales Manager.  He also coordinates and teaches sales school, oversees Cornerstone’s telemarketing leads program, and is responsible for all web activities for Cornerstone.   

Matt excels in every role he serves in, but he bases his personal success on just one thing: meeting the needs of his clients and his agents.  Cornerstone has become a successful organization in large part because of its culture of strong relationships.  That culture among its agents and management team filters down to being able to help people, especially seniors and those nearing retirement. 

This is actually the second career for Matt.  After majoring in Recording Industry Management at Middle Tennessee State University, Matt spent 10 years as a staff songwriter.  His works have been recorded by country music stars Montgomery Gentry, Rhett Akins and he even had a top 10 single with Lila McCann.

Matt originally came on board with Cornerstone as an agent in 2004.  He learned the business quickly, and increased his knowledge as a life and health specialist with State Farm.  He was also recruited to run a property and casualty agency in Connecticut.  Fortunately for Cornerstone (and our agents and clients), he came back to us to serve in his current roles in February of 2009.

Matt and his two daughters live in Franklin, Tennessee where he grew up.  He is glad to be back home in Tennessee, and especially with Cornerstone.

In addition to spending time with his family, Matt loves cooking, writing and teaching yoga.   

Matt takes pride in bringing passion and enthusiasm into everything he does.  We're glad Matt Hendrix is a part of the Cornerstone team.
